A documentary exhibition dedicated to Bulgaria's National Day, March 3, will open in Sofia's City Garden on February 28. The exhibition titled "Resurrection of Freedom" is organized by the Archives State Agency in partnership with Sofia Municipality, the latter said.

The exhibition features documents, photographs and engravings depicting military actions, life during the war, and its final stage with the signing of the Treaties of San Stefano and Berlin. Special attention is given to the participation of Bulgarian volunteers in the military actions and in the decisive Battle of Shipka Peak in 1877.

The exhibition can be viewed until March 20, the organizers say.
