Bulgaria Receives 47 Migrants Under EU Relocation Quotas by June

Brussels, June 13 (BTA correspondent Nikolay Jeliazkov) - Bulgaria has received a total of 47 migrants relocated under EU quotas by the beginning of June, 2017, show data presented by the European Commission on Tuesday.

All migrants accepted so far by Bulgaria have come from Greece. This country has pledged to accept a total of 831 persons from Greece, while 570 migrants have wished to be relocated here so far.

Bulgaria has made a commitment to take 471 persons from Italy, while 140 migrants have expressed desire to come so far. Bulgaria is also expected to accept 50 Syrian refugees from Turkey.
