site.btaSolid Fuel Production Continues to Fall Early in 2024

The production of solid fuels in Bulgaria continued to decrease in the period from January to May 2024, except in March, when it increased by 17%, according to data of the National Statistical Institute (NSI) published on Tuesday.

Motor petrol marked the highest rise (83.7%) in energy product supplies in May 2024.

No increase was reported in the production of any energy product in May 2024 compared with April 2024. The most significant fall was observed with solid fuels (36.3%), the NSI said.

In the supply of energy products, the highest increase was registered for motor petrol, up by 83.7%, and the most significant decrease occurred with solid fuels, down by 34.1%.
