A bilingual brochure entitled "I am Bulgarian and I walk with my people" will be presented at the Bulgarian School "Ivan Stancioff" with the Bulgarian embassy in London at the beginning of the next school year. The book is dedicated to the school's patron, Ivan Stancioff, and tells about his family and life, the school said on its official website.

The booklet was published in Bulgarian and English under the National Programme of the Ministry of Education and Science "The Untold Stories of the Bulgarians". The publication was compiled by Snezhina Mecheva, director of the school until 2023.

The brochure is illustrated with archival photos provided by the National History Museum in Sofia. It summarizes the contribution of the ancestors of the Stancioff family in shaping Ivan as a nobleman, philanthropist, donor and a true modern revivalist.

In addition to the known facts of his life and activities, personal reminiscences are included about his connection to the work of preserving not only the Bulgarian School with the Bulgarian embassy in London, but also his contributions to supporting the Association of Bulgarian Schools Abroad (ABSA).

With its 36-year history and traditions, the Ivan Stancioff Bulgarian School has become an important institution for the Bulgarians living in London. Its main aim is to provide quality education in Bulgarian language and literature and in Bulgarian history. The promotion of the language, folk traditions, songs and culture of the Bulgarian people form an important part of the school's activities.
