site.btaBulgaria's President Radev Discusses War in Ukraine with US President-elect Trump in Paris
In a Facebook post on Sunday, Bulgaria's head of State, Rumen Radev said that he had discussed with US President-elect Donald Trump the war in Ukraine and potential diplomatic solutions for a swift resolution.
Radev arrived on a visit to Paris on Saturday to attend the opening ceremony of the restored Notre-Dame Cathedral. In Radev's words, the cathedral is a symbol of European culture, history and tradition, and its successful and impressive restoration embodies Europe's resilience to crises. The future of a united Europe is unthinkable without respect for, and preservation of, the Christian and cultural heritage of the Old Continent, the President said.
The Bulgarian President added that while no bilateral meetings have been scheduled during this event, any talks are possible within its framework.
