The champion in the shot put's F55 class Ruzhdi Ruzhdi and the discus thrower Stela Eneva returned to Bulgaria on Tuesday after their participation in the Paralympic Games in Paris.

They were welcomed at Sofia Airport Terminal 2 by the Minister of Youth and Sports Georgi Glouchkov, as well as their relatives.

In Paris, Ruzhdi won his second Paralympic title after Rio 2016, as well as his third medal overall from the sport's biggest forum. Eneva, who made a return to the athletics stadium after a nine-year absence, finished fourth in the F57 class.

Ruzhdi and Eneva were two of three Bulgarian athletes at the Paralympic Games in Paris. They also featured Hristiyan Stoyanov, who finished fourth in the 1500m run.
