Taking into account the positions of Continue Change - Democratic Bulgaria (CC-DB) from the past week, GERB's Executive Committee finds no readiness to form a majority and nominate a National Assembly Chair, said Monday GERB Deputy Chair Daniel Mitov after a meeting of the GERB Executive Committee.

Mitov confirmed GERB's position that leadership negotiations will only be held if they are for the formation of a governing majority and a regular government.

"We are only observing preparations for another early parliamentary election and [attempts to] "install" a caretaker Prime Minister," Mitov also commented.

"We know that a majority can be formed, as well as which parties we cannot negotiate with, and from then on we have said with which we can," he added.

On Friday, after the session of the National Assembly, GERB sent a meeting invitation to CC-DB.
