Bulgaria's women's and girls' national teams won silver and bronze medals respectively at the World Aesthetic Group Gymnastics Championships in Tartu, Estonia, on Sunday.

Hristiana Kovacheva, Karina Neykova, Viktoria Berova, Maria Mehlemova, Yana Staykova, Katrin Taseva and Siyana Tabakova with coach Kristina Tasheva collected a total of 56.950 points from their performances on Saturday and Sunday. 

The team was down to seven athletes due to an injury to Sibila Kapracheva.

The title was won by Finland with 57.250 points, while Estonia completed the top 3 with 55.850.

The Bulgarian team was the world champion in 2022 and vice-champion in 2023.

In the juniors competition Linoy Georgieva, Andrea Hristova, Andrea Sarafova, Zhaklin Naydenova, Daria Nacheva, Dalia Ivanova, Adriana Mihaylova and Nikol Zlatkova won bronze with 54.500 points.

Finland became champion with 55.600 points, followed by Estonia with 54.850 points.
