site.btaBulgarians Iliya Dobrev and Daria Posypai Win Silver Medals in Bulgarian Open Championship International Competition

The Bulgarian dance couple Iliya Dobrev and Daria Posypai won silver medals in the standard dances of the international tournament Bulgarian Open Championship, which took place over the weekend at the Marinela Hotel in Sofia. Organizers of the competition included some of the most famous competitors of this sport, Dobrina Parichkova, Violeta Yaneva and Salvatore Todaro.

The winners were Dusan Grula and Jada Cragnolini (Slovakia), and the third were Matteo Del Gaone and Ekaterina Utkina (Italy).

Another Bulgarian couple Ivan Hristov and Diana Vylegzhanina finished in 11th place.

In Latin dance, Boris Borisov and Emiliya Dzhelebova placed fifth, and Ivan Hristov and Diana Vylegzhanina  placed 12th.

Italians Andrea Bolzoni and Michelle Maritan became champions in Latin dance.

In the juniors Kristiyan Donchev and Martina Kondaklieva won gold medals in both types of dance, standard and Latin.

More than 550 couples from 35 countries on four continents participated in the competition, and more than 200 girls participated solo.
