The average monthly contributory income in Bulgaria for December 2024 was BGN 1,768.47, according to the National Social Security Institute. The monthly contributory income in this country for the period between January 1 and December 31, 2024, was BGN 1,655.50.

The average monthly contributory income for November was BGN 1,712.53. From December 1, 2023, to November 30, 2024, it stood at BGN 1,639.49.

The determined average monthly contributory income for the country for the specified period is used in calculating the size of the newly granted pensions in November 2024, the National Insurance Institute added.

The average monthly contributory income for the country in October was BGN 1,666.05.
