Varna Administrative Court rejected Vazrazhdane Floor Leader Kostadin Kostadinov's appeal against the decision of the Commission for Protection against Discrimination (CPD) for discrimination in the form of harassment against the Continue the Change - Democratic Bulgaria MP Daniel Lorer, says a March 10 decision of the court, published on its website on Tuesday.

It reads that the court dismissed Kostadinov's complaint against the CPD's October 4 decision after finding discrimination in the form of "harassment" on the grounds of "religion", "ethnicity" and "origin" by the complainant against Lorer.

Kostadinov was given a mandatory injunction to remove from his Facebook account six posts examined in the proceedings, as well as to carry out a filter of the comments made and to remove those of them which were discriminatory and embodied hate speech.

The Court dismissed Kostadinov's appeal against the part of the decision where it recommends that he refrain from making statements to Lorer that constituted "harassment" and terminated the administrative proceedings.

In the part of the decision where administrative proceedings are terminated, it has the character of an order and may be challenged by private appeal before the Supreme Administrative Court (SAC) within seven days of its notification. The remainder may be appealed before SAC within 14 days of receipt of the notification by the parties.
