site.btaEnergy Minister Signs Grant Agreements for Projects of Three Electricity Distribution Companies and Electricity System Operator

Caretaker Minister of Energy Vladimir Malinov signed contracts Monday for grant assistance from the Modernization Fund for the implementation of projects with the representatives of Electricity Distribution Networks West EAD, Electricity Distribution North AD, Electricity Distribution South EAD and Electricity System Operator (ESO) EAD for the provision of grant assistance. The signing ceremony took place at the Ministry of Energy.

The grant under the four contracts amounts to over BGN 327 million. The projects implemented will contribute to increasing the transmission capacity of the electricity grid, installing smart meters, upgrading information systems, and modernizing the grid by integrating network transformers for automatic voltage regulation.
