site.btaCabinet Approves Additional 38 Mln in Expenditures to Defence Ministry's 2024 Budget

The Council of Ministers adopted a decree approving additional expenditures to the Defence Ministry's 2024 Budget on Monday. 

The adopted act provides for additional expenditures in the budget of the Ministry of Defence in the amount of BGN 38,000,000 for auxiliary costs of the acquisition of a new type of combat aircraft - stage I (transport, VAT, customs duties and other costs related to the implementation of international treaties), which will increase the necessary defence capabilities of Bulgaria's Armed Forces to prevent, deter and respond to possible threats against the country and to implement the allied commitments of the Republic of Bulgaria in the complex security environment.
