The Annual Responsible Business Awards were presented in Sofia on Tuesday evening. The event is organized by the Bulgarian Business Leaders Forum (BBLF).

The Bulgarian News Agency (BTA) is media partner of the event.

The 21st edition of the national contest for corporate social responsibility attracted 126 environmental, social and governance (ESG) entries from 82 companies. BBLF strives to encourage good practices of engagement with public causes and promote the most impactful corporate initiatives.

Following are the winners:

Investor in the Community: Lidl Bulgaria for its initiative for sustainable development of the local communities, transformed into "You and Lidl for Our Tomorrow"

Investor in the Environment: Foodobox for the mobile app against food waste

Investor in Knowledge: Yettel Bulgaria for the Digital Scouts programme

Investor in Human Capital & Working Conditions: Vivacom for its summer internships programme

Cause-Related Marketing: dm Bulgaria for its Giving Friday initiative

Best Social Policy of SME: Foodobox for the mobile app against food waste

Diversity at Work: Yettel Bulgaria for its comprehensive diversity and inclusion policy

Engage Special Award: Paysafe Bulgaria for its local community support programme.
