In February 2024, the monthly inflation rate, measured by the Consumer Price Index, was 0.3% compared to the previous month, and the annual inflation rate in February 2024 compared to February 2023 was 3.3%, the National Statistical Institute said Thursday.

The inflation rate since the beginning of the year (February 2024 compared to December 2023) was 0.8%, and the annual average inflation rate for the period March 2023 - February 2024 compared to the period March 2022 - February 2023 was 7.4%.

In February 2023, the monthly inflation rate was 0.8% compared to the previous month and the annual inflation rate for February 2023 compared to February 2022 was 16%.
