A roundtable on the opportunities and challenges stemming from the changes on the electricity market will take place in Sofia on Thursday, the organizers from the Electricity Management Institute said. The event will focus on the legal and factual changes on the market.

To be discussed are matters related to the financial stability of the market participants supplying household consumers, the liquidity and price levels on the electricity market, and household consumers' preparation for the forthcoming full market liberalization in 2026.

Invited to participate in the roundtable are representatives of the parliamentary Energy Committee, the Energy Minister, the Energy and Water Regulatory Commission, the European Commission and European Parliament representations in Sofia, business organizations and associations, energy companies, NGOs, scientific units, and experts.
