The Council of Ministers approved a draft Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministries of Agriculture of Bulgaria and Kosovo in the field of agriculture and rural development.

In recent years there has been a mutual desire between the two institutions to expand cooperation in the field of agriculture and rural development. The signing of this Memorandum will establish a legal framework for the future development of bilateral relations in the fields of food, livestock, crop production, viticulture, rural development, research, and fisheries.

The main objective of the conclusion of the Memorandum is to deepen cooperation between the two Ministries, through exchange of information, transfer of expertise and training, introduction of new technologies in crop, livestock, fisheries and aquaculture, technical and administrative cooperation.
