The 40th edition of the international tourism fair Holiday & Spa Expo will take place on March 13-15 in Inter Expo Center in Sofia, the organizer said on Friday.

The exhibition, which at its last edition brought together 260 participants from 16 countries and welcomed over 10,000 visitors, will take place in an upgraded format. "Our aim is to create an optimal environment for attendees to cater for every aspect of their business," Inter Expo Centre noted. Last year, the exhibition centre acquired the licence for the international format, which is held under the auspices of the Tourism Ministry.

The exhibition attracts national and regional tourism boards, branch organizations, tour operators, travel agencies, experts in eco and rural tourism, hotels owners and managers, SPA and wellness centers, businesses in the fields of golf, wine, culinary and youth tourism.

It also features manufacturers and suppliers of hotel, spa and fitness equipment, specialized software, transport companies, entertainment and attraction venues, art and sports clubs, professional educational institutions, language training schools, publishers and media.
