Unemployment in Bulgaria in November 2023 was 4.3%, compared with an average rate of 5.9% in the EU and 6.4% in the euro area, the Statistical Office of the European Commission (Eurostat) reports.

Bulgaria's jobless level in November 2023 dropped slightly from October 2023, when it stood at 4.4%, and grew from November 2022, when it was 3.9%. The country had 130,000 unemployed people in November 2023, compared with 132,000 in October 2023 and 119,000 in November 2022.

November 2023 unemployment in the EU decreased slightly from 6.0% in October 2023 and 6.1% in November 2022. In the euro area it registered a similarly minor decrease from 6.5% in October 2023 and 6.7% in November 2022.
