The European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) has adopted a resolution calling on the European Council and the Member States to speed up the process of accession of Bulgaria and Romania to the Schengen area, said EESC Member and Bulgarian Industrial Capital Association Secretary General Milena Angelova. The resolution was presented on October 14 in Brussels during a plenary session of the EESC.
