site.btaBulgarian Stock Exchange Awards Best Performing Companies from Programme Stimulating Growth of Bulgarian Companies

The Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) and its partners honoured at a special ceremony Wednesday evening the best performing companies from the BeamUp Lab Vol. 3 programme, which aims to stimulate the growth of Bulgarian companies.

Awards were presented in six categories: the Super Star award for overall achievements in its field went to the Office RnD technology company; the Moon for Investors award for a company that impressed investors went to Barin Sports; the Sun of Community award for services of significant importance to society went to DreamIx; the Green Star award for innovations to reduce the carbon footprint went to the Harmonica company; and the Favorite Star award for the audience's favorite company went to Coherent Labs.

The BSE also awarded the special BeamUp Star award to the Boleron company.

The BSE said that 20 innovative companies will be part of the fourth edition of the BeamUp Lab programme. This year companies from the technology sector once again predominate, but there are also producers of superfoods, protein bars, chocolates, as well as batteries and bicycle frames, hydrogen technology, rental caravans, and more. As with the previous third edition, 80% of the companies have successfully completed at least one round of financing from venture investors. The selected companies have raised over BGN 30 million from venture investors so far, the BSE said.
