Bulgarian customs officers have seized more than 6,400 fake perfumes and over 3,400 fake brand clothes at the Danube Bridge 2 crossing on the Bulgarian-Romanian border between Vidin and Calafat, the Customs Agency said.
On October 12, customs officers checked a truck with two Bulgarian drivers bound from Bulgaria for Austria and Germany and found 6,465 counterfeit perfumes and 3,429 fake brand clothes, all of which were impounded.
So far this year, this is the sixth seizure of perfumes and the third of branded clothes at that border crossing, the Customs Agency said. A total of 11,515 items of textile goods have been seized.
