site.btaQ2 Bank Assets Grew by BGN 468 Mln
Between April and June, the assets of the banking system grew by BGN 468 million (0.3%) to BGN 161.1 billion, according to the quarterly bulletin of the Bulgarian National Bank.
Quarter-on-quarter, loans, advances and securities increased. Balances with central banks and other deposits deposits, and cash increased, according to the central bank.
The banking system's assets compared to the GDP totalled 92.2% (compared with 93.6%).
