The Manager magazine organizes the banking and finance forum The Future of Money for the sixth consecutive year, the organizers said. The forum will be held at the Inter Expo Center in Sofia on Tuesday.

The opening speech will be delivered by Andrey Gurov, Deputy Governor of the Bulgarian National Bank, and will focus on the responsibilities that come with the euro adoption process.

In the first discussion panel "The Big Macroeconomic Picture", led by Manager's Editor-in-Chief Tanya Krasteva, the participants will outline the big picture of the main characteristics of the global money supply in the near future and the policy that Bulgaria should follow in these economic realities.

The second panel "Green Finance: partnering for a sustainable future" is dedicated to the new conditions under which businesses will receive financing. Compliance with environmental, social and governance management standards is already affecting cash flows, and large companies will be required to comply with a range of new standards to set an example to the rest of the economic environment. The moderator will be Dr Marina Stefanova of Sofia University's Faculty of Economics.

The topic of Bulgaria's entry into the euro area will be discussed in the third panel. Branko Roglic, head of the Bulgarian-Croatian Business Club, will share his expert opinion on Croatia's experience after joining the euro area.

Financial technologies will be discussed in the fourth panel. The co-founder of the first Bulgarian unicorn Payhawk, Hristo Borisov, will offer his insight into managing corporate expenses in the era of open banking.

The scheduled discussion on the digital euro, open banking and mobile finance will be moderated by Konstantin Djelebov, CEO of Phyre.

The discussion in the panel "Investment Strategies in Development" will be moderated by financial analyst Krasimir Atanasov.
