site.btaKozloduy N-Plant Unit 6 to Be Shut Down for Annual Maintenance on October 9

On October 9 Kozloduy N-plant will begin annual scheduled maintenance of Unit 6. The shutting down of the unit has been coordinated with the Electricity System Operator. 

The maintenance is set to be completed by the end of November. 
 
The systems and equipment will be serviced and repaired to ensure their safe operation during the autumn and winter. Parallel with that long-term maintenance will be carried out and Unit 6 will be restocked with fresh nuclear fuel. 

Unit 5 of Kozloduy N-plant operates according to the schedule.
