site.btaEuropean Commission Starts Euro Changeover Awareness Campaign in Bulgaria

The European Commission Representation in Bulgaria (ECRB) has launched a campaign called #ЗаЕврото накратко (The euro at a glance). The campaign will provide information to the general public in the country about the process of joining the euro area and will give answers to frequently asked questions about the single European currency, ECRB said on Monday.

Supported by the Ministry of Finance and the Bulgarian National Bank, the effort will involve a series of awareness raising videos on 10 topics which will be circulated in the coming weeks. Each animation video will highlight a separate aspect of the euro changeover, including the benefits for the economy and businesses. The series will discuss some of the most common myths and fears about the single currency.
