site.btaInnovation and Growth Ministry Considers Nine Investment Projects for BGN 321 Mln in Incentives

Nine investment projects for financial measures are currently being examined by experts at the Innovation and Growth Ministry, BTA learned from the Ministry. Investments of BGN 321 million, mostly in manufacturing and high-tech services, are planned in the regions of Varna, Vratsa, Blagoevgrad, Pleven, Burgas, Plovdiv and Silistra and in Sofia Region. A total of 1,567 jobs will be created if the projects are implemented.

BTA approached the Innovation and Growth Ministry questions about the Investment Promotion Act, which allows investors who have received a certificate for an investment project to apply for incentives financed from the Ministry's budget. In the year to August 14, fourteen projects have been certificated, under which 859 jobs are expected to be offered.
