A Sova-Harris survey found that 32.9% of respondents buy milk and milk products every day or nearly every day, 58.8% buy them every week or nearly every week, and 3.3% do not buy this type of product.

The nationally representative survey of attitudes towards animal protection was conducted online among 1,503 people aged 16 or over between June 15 and July 12. It was commissioned by a non-profit organization, Campaigns and Activism for Animals in the Industry.

Hen's eggs are put on the table every day or nearly every day by 4.1% of respondents, every week or nearly every week by 76.7%, and 3.1% said they never buy eggs.

As to meat, 14.5% buy it every day or nearly every day, 65.6% every week or nearly every week, and 9% never buy it.

The survey found that 16.6% of respondents buy vegetables every day or nearly every day, and 68.1% buy some every week or nearly every week.

Asked if the rearing conditions of laying hens are important to them, 37.1% of respondents said they are important, 28.8% said the rearing conditions are rather important, and 7.1% said they do not matter.

Asked if fur farms should be closed, 70.0% said "yes", 6.7% said "no" and 23.3% said "don't know".
