site.btaStatistics: Average Contributory Income in June at BGN 1,399.82

The amount of the average contributory income in Bulgaria for June 2023 is BGN 1,399.82, the press centre of the National Social Security Institute (NSSI) said.

The average monthly contributory income for the country for the period from July 1, 2022 to June 30, 2023 is BGN 1,378.73. It stood at BGN 1,427.64 for the month of May. 

The planned revenues from social insurance contributions in the state social insurance budget for 2023 amount to BGN 11,080,450,000. The maximum monthly amount of social security income remains BGN 3,400. As of August 1, the minimum social security income for self-employed persons, registered farmers and tobacco growers increases from BGN 710 to BGN 780.
