site.btaValentin Nikolov Elected as Kozloduy NPP Executive Director

Valentin Nikolov will be the new Kozloduy NPP Executive Director, he confirmed Thursday to BTA. Nikolov explained that his name will be entered into the Commercial Register on August 16 and the decision will take effect then.

The Board of Directors of the NPP took a decision to dismiss Georgi Kirkov from his post and to elect Nikolov. The application for the change was filed with the Commercial Register on Thursday.

Nikolov was Deputy Minister of Economy, Energy and Tourism in 2012. Then he served as Kozloduy NPP Director between 2012 and 2013. In 2021, he was Executive Director of Bulgarian Energy Holding.

The previous Executive Director remained in the post for about a year. He replaced Nasko Mihov.
