State Budget Promulgated in State Gazette, Enters into Force

The 2023 State Budget entered into force Tuesday after it was promulgated in the State Gazette. The National Assembly adopted it conclusively on second reading early on July 28 after a marathon debate lasting more than 20 hours.

Gross domestic product growth is set at 1.8%, average annual inflation at 8.7% and the minimum wage remains at BGN 780. The State Budget envisages a 3%.
