Despite the positive growth trends of around 7% for the first three months of 2023 in the steel industry in Bulgaria, the industry's expectations for the year are rather pessimistic and even forecast a minimal decline of 2% to 3% for 2023, Politimi Paunova, Executive Director of the Bulgarian Association of Metallurgical Industry (BAMI), said in an interview for BTA.
