A documentary about the oldest monument in Paris, the Obelisk of Concorde, gifted to France in 1830 and recognized as a marvel of engineering thought, will be screened for journalists at BTA's Maxim Hall at 5 p.m. on Friday. The event is free of charge and part of the programme of the 10th Master of Art Festival.
Operation Luxor - The Great Concorde Obelisk Expedition is directed by Thibaut Ferrier.
"This 40-metre monolith weighing 220 tonnes was transported from Luxor, Egypt, a journey accompanied by six years of technical feats. The documentary, saturated with a number of aerial shots, 3D animations and expert testimonies, follows this human, political and diplomatic adventure. From Paris to the Nile, relive the incredible odyssey of the Obelisk," the organizers of Master of Art say.
The full list of media screenings hosted by BTA until February 25 can be found here.
