site.btaTrakia University Signs Cooperation Agreement with Mother Teresa University in Skopje

The Rector of Trakia University in Stara Zagora, Prof. Dobri Yarkov, and the Rector of the Mother Teresa University in Skopje, Izet Zeqiri, have signed an agreement for cooperation, the press office of Trakia University reported on Tuesday.

"Our partnership does not start today, it has a history. We have a contract with the University of Skopje under Erasmus+ and we can already boast a successfully completed project Women in STEM - Overcoming Stereotypes, which is important not only for Bulgaria and the Republic of North Macedonia, but also for the whole of Europe", said Prof. Yarkov. He also stressed that the partnership agreement is an investment in the future.

The two universities will continue to cooperate not only in education, but also in research and development, innovation and the transfer of knowledge from science to practice, Trakia University noted.

This is yet another cooperation agreement signed by Trakia University. Earlier in June, the University initialed a memorandum of understanding with Kyustendil Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and in April a contract for joint work was signed with the Luxembourg University for Digital Technologies in Medicine and Dentistry.
