site.btaOpera of the Sanctuary Festival Continues with Production of Nabucco

Nabucco by Guiseppe Verdi will feature next on the programme of the Opera of the Sanctuary Festival on August 12, said organizers of the State Opera Burgas. The festival takes place at the site of the Thracian sanctuary Begliktash. 

Ivaylo Krinchev will be guest conductor and the production is directed by Alexander Tekeliev.

Starring will be baritone Maryan Jovanoski - as Nabucco, in the role of Ishmael - tenor Yani Nikolov, Zacharia - Delyan Slavov, bass. Abigail - soprano Ioana Zhelezcheva, mezzo-soprano Ioana Kadiyska - in the role of Fenena. Kostadin Mechkov is the bass player in the image of the High Priest, Milen Dinolov, tenor, will play Abdalo, and Nona Krastnikova, the soprano, will play the role of Anna.

The festival is organized by the State Opera Burgas and the Town Hall in Primorsko. The programme also features the productions of Il trovatore on August 26 and Carmen on August 19.
