Foreign Minister Georg Georgiev held telephone talks with his Greek counterpart Giorgos Gerapetritis and Turkish counterpart Hakan Fidan, the Ministry's press centre said here on Saturday.

Minister Gerapetritis extended warm congratulations on the occasion of the inauguration of his Bulgarian counterpart. The two diplomats briefly discussed some topical issues in the bilateral relations between the two countries, the Foreign Ministry added. They agreed on the need for further development of good-neighbourly relations and active dialogue.

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan also congratulated his Bulgarian counterpart on his inauguration. The two ministers briefly discussed the development of bilateral relations between Bulgaria and Turkiye.
