Germany's Ramona Theresia Hofmeister recorded her second consecutive victory in the FIS Snowboard World Cup in Bansko on Saturday. She triumphed in the women's parallel giant slalom. In the final, Hofmeister won against the second in the FIS World Cup parallel giant slalom standings Tsubaki Miki of Japan by a margin of over half a second.
In her press conference after the success, she described the conditions and the track as perfect and expressed her hope to record a third consecutive victory on Sunday.
Third place went to Aleksandra Krol-Walas of Poland, who edged out Michelle Dekker of the Netherlands in the small final.
Krol-Walas stands at the top of the rankings with 426 points, Tsubaki Miki is second with 390, Sabine Payer is third with 336 and Hofmeister - fourth with 273.
Another parallel giant slalom will be held in Bansko on Sunday.
