Seven authors from Bulgaria, France, Italy, the USA and Finland will present their works in the joint opening exhibition of the Hostgallery. The exhibit is titled "Gateway I" and features some world-renowned names in the art world, the gallery said on Friday.

Until the end of August, Hostgallery will present to audiences the video works of performance art pioneer Roi Vaara (Finland), Stefano Cagol (Italy) and his themed video about the environment, and Prof. Jennifer Parker (USA), who presents the audience with many a personal video about the directions in life.

The gallery's team reports that in the exhibition will feature a previously unseen painting with used machine oil by Bulgarian artist Rassim, as well as the bright coloured canvases of artist Sasho Stoitsov - two eminent artists, symbolic of this country's artistic scene. The exhibition also features Iglika Hristova (Bulgaria and France) with her virtuoso drawings and prints exploring the micro and macro cosmos, as well as a symbolically saturated luminous object by Ivaylo Hristov (Bulgaria).

The concept of the exhibition was inslired by Raul Zamudio (USA), an independent curator, art critic and professor of art history based in New York, said Hostgallery.
