Photographs taken from a train during journeys through Scotland, Greece and Bulgaria by Glasgow-based visual artist Brandon Hendrick will be presented in the Charta Gallery in Sofia on Wednesday, the Gallery said. The exhibition is entitled Transience and will be on display until August 29.

"They are a continuation of the author's explorations around how quickly memories can be forgotten because they are based on photographs taken with a mobile phone camera. These pictures are images of real locations, but without including many landmarks or other identifiers of a specific place because they exist everywhere and nowhere, making them trans-geographical or hyper-local," the organizer explained.
