site.btaMore than 450 University Students Arrive for International Mathematics Competition at American University in Bulgaria

The American University in Bulgaria (AUBG) is hosting for the 14th time the world's biggest mathematics Olympiad for university students between July 31 and August 6, AUBG said. The 30th edition of the International Mathematics Competition for University Students is organized by University College London in partnership with AUBG. The formal opening is scheduled for August 1.

The entrants are students under 23 years of age completing their first, second, third or fourth year of education. The competition is held in two rounds, with problems from the fields of Algebra, Analysis, Geometry and Combinatorics. The working language is English. 

More than 450 students from over 100 universities of 49 countries, including the United States, France, Germany, China, Brazil, Indonesia, Greece and Mexico, have registered for this year's competition. Part of the 100-plus prizes are provided by the principal sponsor, Huawei, and the primary sponsors Jane Street, Maple Soft, Springer, Wolfram Research and Zulip.
