site.btaEarth and Man National Museum Organizes Four Exhibitions in August

Four exhibitions are planned in the programme of the Earth and Man National Museum in August, the museum said on Monday.

In a temporary exhibition which portraits amber as a “time capsule” the visitors will be able to see excavated chunks covered with adhering soil, diverse decorative types of molded amber, a rich collection of amber with insect inclusions, the museum stated.

The exhibition "The Stone History of Ancient Seas and Forests" will display a Zlati Zlatev collection, in which silicified trees, corals and jaspers from different localities in Bulgaria will be presented.

The temporary exhibition "Smart Minerals for Smartphones" will feature answers to the questions "What are the ten most used materials in a smartphone?", "What are the available stocks of raw materials?", "How long will they last?" and "Why is it important to recycle old phones?".

There will also be a temporary exhibition featuring the new additions to the museum's exhibits.
