Bulgarian Foreign Minister Georg Georgiev conferred with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Dr. Ayman al-Safadi, in Brussels on Monday, his Ministry said.

During the meeting, which was a follow-up to a telephone conversation held between the two ministers on January 28, the sides expressed satisfaction over the excellent state of bilateral relations and the active political dialogue conducted at all levels between the two friendly countries. They also discussed some concrete future steps to advance the fruitful cooperation in the different areas of mutual interest. Special emphasis was placed on the preparations for an upcoming Aqaba Process Summit in Sofia on April 3-4 2025, focusing on the Balkans, which will be accompanied with an official visit of His Majesty King Abdullah II to Bulgaria.
