The MRF - New Beginning parliamentary group will again table in Parliament a draft resolution on the establishment of an hoc committee to establish facts and circumstances regarding the activities of George and Alexander Soros in Bulgaria, the party's press centre said in a press release. The previous motion was rejected by the National Assembly with 62 votes in favor, 74 against, and 43 abstentions on February 5.
The press release quoted MRF - New Beginning leader Delyan Peevski as saying: "The network of individuals and structures poses a threat to the rule of law in the country, because these actions, given that they are financed and coordinated by George Soros and Alexander Soros and their foundations, are entirely in the private interest. In this way, the fundamental principles of democracy are being compromised and the foundations of the State are being eroded, because controlling the power structures, the political and social system in the country in the service of one man leads to nothing other than, in practice, a dictatorship."
MRF - New Beginning insists, after the completion of the work of the parliamentary committee, on adequate measures to "remove this influence and eliminate the possibility of such interference against the national interests of Bulgaria and the security of the people."
