Speaking on Bulgarian National Radio on Sunday, caretaker Minister of Education and Science Galin Tsokov said that working is being done to introduce a quality standard in education and a new vision for school curricula. The Ministry is preparing draft revisions to the Pre-School and School Education Act, which envisage the introduction of a standard for quality of the education system.

The new vision for school curricula under development will focus on competency-oriented curricula, greater integrability of education, and flexibility and adaptation of school content to the conditions in some municipalities, Tsokov explained.
