site.btaProtesters Demand Resignation of Caretaker Prime Minister, Interior Minister

Protesters organized by the BOEC Civil Association gathered in front of the Council of Ministers on Tuesday to demand the resignation of caretaker Prime Minister Dimitar Glavchev and of caretaker Interior Minister Kalin Stoyanov and the holding of fair elections.
 
On Monday evening, BOEC staged a protest against Stoyanov keeping his job as interior minister in the caretaker cabinet. The association hold him to blame for vote buying during the local elections in late October and early November 2023 and insist that they have to-the-point information about his responsibility.

Earlier on Tuesday, the caretaker cabinet appointed by President Rumen Radev and headed by Dimitar Glavchev was sworn in at an extraordinary sitting of the National Assembly.
