A nationwide test of the BG-ALERT system will be performed on Wednesday, November 29, the Interior Ministry said. Between 12 o'clock noon and 12:30 p.m., the system will send out a text message in Bulgarian and English. It will be transmitted through the mobile communication networks to devices supporting the Cell Broadcast technology.

It will be a one-off message accompanied by a specific sound and vibration even if your mobile communication device is in silent mode, the Interior Ministry said.
