Movement for Rights and Freedoms-New Beginning leader Delyan Peevski on Sunday extended Ramazan Bayram greetings, wishing everyone health, prosperity, and peace in their homes.

Peevski expressed hope that this sacred holiday would bring joy to people’s hearts and strengthen their faith in the good things to come. He noted that Ramazan Bayram is a celebration of faith and compassion.

“A new beginning for all Bulgarian citizens, regardless of faith or background, will help bring a better life and prosperity for people, as well as progress for Bulgaria,” Peevski wrote.

Earlier in the day, Grand Mufti Mustafa Hadzhi spoke to BTA’s Yuzlem Tefikova and said that Ramazan Bayram follows a month of mutual assistance and sharing. He noted the three-day celebration represents the culmination of this spirit of sharing.
