site.btaGERB Leader Borissov Stresses Respect, Tolerance in Ramazan Bayram Greeting

A society’s strength lies in respect and tolerance, said GERB-UDF leader Boyko Borissov on Facebook to mark Ramazan Bayram in Bulgaria, on Sunday.

"History has shown that people can live together, share celebrations, and support one another. May this spirit of unity and kindness continue,” Borissov said.

He addressed the Muslim community, wishing them good health, happiness, and peace, and expressed hope that their homes be filled with harmony and mutual respect.

Earlier in the day, Grand Mufti Mustafa Hadzhi spoke to BTA’s Yuzlem Tefikova and said that Ramazan Bayram follows a month of mutual assistance and sharing. He noted the three-day celebration represents the culmination of this spirit of sharing.
