Prime Minister Nikolay Denkov said Monday that Bulgaria will offer humanitarian aid to State of Israel. “We need to monitor the situation very carefully because there is the potential for a very serious escalation,” he told journalists in Euxinograd (on the Black Sea coast), commenting on the situation in Israel and the full blockade imposed on the Gaza Strip.
"The danger of a much bigger storm is significant," Denkov stressed.
He congratulated the Bulgarian institutions for the reaction and the two flights made by the government Airbus with Bulgarian citizens on board from Tel Aviv. "We are currently collecting more information and volunteers," Denkov stated. If it is safe and enough people are gathered, the state can send another flight, he explained.
