The election process of the parliamentary elections in Kosovo ended on time and without any problems affecting its fairness, Kosovo's Central Election Commission (CEC) spokesman Valmir Elezi told a press conference in Pristina Sunday evening.

Preliminary data from the polling stations show that the voter turnout at the parliamentary elections was 40.04% of those eligible to vote on the territory of the country or 789,162 people.

Data from the previous parliamentary elections in Kosovo in 2021 showed that the turnout was 46.9% or 827,984 people, the CEC spokesman noted.

The distribution of seats by party will become clear in the coming days, after the votes from abroad have been counted, the Kosovo Radio and Television reported. The last of the ballots from voters outside the country will arrive in Kosovo on Monday.
